C2C

C2C established itself in 2013 as a real phenomenon democratizing the practice of turntablism. The four members of the collective, united since the end of the 90s around this discipline still unknown to the general public, have collected rewards by being crowned world champions four times. Made up of members of Hocus Pocus (20syl and Greem) and Beat Torrent (Pfel and Atom), C2C finally found the time to transform the essay by releasing the EP Down the road then its first album Tetra in 2012. Warmly received by critics and the public alike, he was crowned with four music victories and a double platinum disc. Bringing together numerous artists around it, the group multiplies collaborations on records (Gush, Jay Jay Johansson, etc.) as well as on stage (Mr..) and through numerous remixes (Bernhoft, Vitalic, etc.). Developing a careful aesthetic, C2C has also distinguished itself through remarkable clips, notably for the songs FUYA, Happy and Delta. Live, an impressive scenography reveals the graphic universe dear to the group contributing to the triumphant success of its tour, from the biggest French venues to the Californian desert of Coachella. This clever mix of hip hop and electronic sounds manipulated by four turntable maestros won over a large intergenerational audience while popularizing the practice of scratching.
